This is primarily a course on portfolio management. The security analysis considerations focus on the development of risk and return as inputs to the portfolio problem. The underlying theme throughout the course will be how to construct and manage portfolios in a reasonably efficient market environment. An emphasis will be placed on active money management and, therefore, how to construct a portfolio to gain exposure to an underlying forecast of return.
